As controversy continues to tear the leading opposition party in the country apart, a High Court in Degema, Rivers State, has sacked the embattled National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus.
The order was issued by vacation Judge, Justice O. Gbasam.
The Court in an exparte order brought before it by some aggrieved members of the PDP also sacked Mr.Secondus as a member of the PDP pending the determination of the suit before him.
It shout be recalls that a lingering crises rocking the main opposition party had resulted in serious calls for the resignation of Mr.Secondus.
However, Secondus after a meeting with relevant stakeholders have settled for an earlier convention in October where He is expected not to seek reelection.
The granting of this exparte order by a Court in Rivers State further adds fire to the rumuour that Gov.Nyesom Wike who was instrumental to the emergence of Mr.Secondus is hell-bent of pushing him out of office over irreconcillable differences.
