Barely 48 hours after the dissolution of the National Working Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress, the former Edo state governor and the suspended national chairman of APC has said to have accepted the dissolution in good fate and promised to be continuous loyal to President Buhari.
It will be recalled that Buhari dissolved the NWC on Thursday after several court injunctions about the authentic chairman of the party, however, Victor Giadom called for the NEC meeting of which the president supported and during the virtual NEC meeting, the president dissolved the NWC.
And the dissolution led to the emergence of the Caretaker committee that is being led the Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni as Chairman and Senator John Akpan Udo-Edehe as secretary. The committee will organize the national convention of the party.
According to Oshiomhole, the real test of his loyalty is not when things are going smoothly but when things suddenly become rough.
“Of course, we have now been dissolved and I have accepted that dissolution in good fate. I have always assured the President of my loyalty.
“I know it is easy for people to speak of loyalty when the going is good but loyalty is brought to the test when the going gets really tough,” he said.
