Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro remains unperturbed by his players’ bench roles at their respective clubs.

A number of regular players in the Super Eagles have struggled for playing time at their clubs this season.

Leicester City duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi have been in and out of the Foxes team this season.

The likes of Joe Aribo, Calvin Bassey, Ahmed Musa, Semi Ajayi, Frank Onyeka, and Paul Onuachu have suffered similar fates.

Peseiro is, however, unmoved by his players’ lack of regular action.

“I prefer to choose the best players, and I invite them because they are the best. "I call them because I want to build a team,” Peseiro said during his interaction with the media.
“I call them because I believe in them, and I remain in contact with them and their coaches.”
