Zimbabwe forward Knowledge Musona is upbeat that the Warriors can secure an away win against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Michael Nees’ side will face the Super Eagles in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday six encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, next Tuesday.
The Warriors are currently bottom of Group C with two points from four matches.
Zimbabwe will host the Cheetahs of Benin Republic at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban, on Thursday (today).
Musona insisted that the Warriors can win both games.
“In football, anything is possible, and it starts with this next game. The priority is to secure three points against Benin before focusing on Nigeria,” the Al-Okhdood of Saudi Arabia striker told Zimbabwean news outlet NewsDay.
“With the quality in this squad, I believe we can achieve maximum points. It all depends on the effort we put in during training and, most importantly, in the matches.”
