AC Milan's legendary player and current director, Paolo Maldini will leave the club with immediate effect.



The decision was made after a tense meeting with the club chairman Gerry Cardinale. Reports have it that Gerry and Maldini have different visions for the future of the club, and due to this irreconcilable difference, Maldini decided to part with the club.

In other news, the club's Co-director Ricky Massara is also set to leave AC Milan.
