Following Kelechi Iheanacho's arrival on Wednesday morning, the Super Eagles' camp in Constantine, Algeria, now has 22 players.
Iheanacho was welcomed with open arms by his teammates and the coaching staff, which was headed by head coach Jose Peseiro.
For the team's first four games under Peseiro, the Leicester City striker was not used.
The forward last featured for the Super Eagles in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations second-round fixture against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
Iheanacho is expected to be part of the team’s training session this evening.
Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, and Rivers United left-back, Ebube Duru, are still being expected in camp.
