Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has hit out at his team-mates for doing “stupid” things during the 2-2 draw with West Ham on Sunday.
Gabriel Jesus and Odegaard scored for the Gunners as they went 2-0 up at the London Stadium.
However, Thomas Partey lost possession, which eventually resulted in Gabriel Magalhaes conceding a penalty in the first half. Benhrama scored to make it 2-1.
Bukayo Saka then missed a penalty early in the second half, moments after the Hammers leveled through Jarrod Bowen.
“We gave them a little bit of the game they wanted." We gave them hope when they were basically dead. It’s on us.
“We started to do a lot of stupid things with the ball, and we let them play long balls; they got a lot of throw-ins and corners, and we let them play on their qualities,” Odegaard said.
