Former France international Bacary Sagna has named Arsenal the best team in the Premier League at the moment.

Many football lovers believe that last season’s treble winners, Manchester City, are the best team, not just in the Premier League but in the world.

Sagna also believes that the club’s new signing, Declan Rice, is one of the best midfielders in the world.

Sagna, a former Arsenal right-back, said that Rice is the perfect replacement for Granit Xhaka, who left the club for Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

“He [Declan Rice] is probably one of the best midfielders in the world at the minute. I’m not surprised to see him joining, to me, what is the best team in England at the moment,” he said.
He commended the club’s manager, Mikel Arteta, for the great job he has done so far at the north London side.
“He [Rice] is going to have a huge impact. So I see him replacing Xhaka perfectly,” he added.
