Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that the team will win a major trophy this season.

Los Blancos are in three competitions ahead of their El Clasico clash at Barcelona on Sunday.

Madrid go into the game nine points behind leaders Barca and will play Chelsea in the Champions League quarterfinals.

Ancelotti’s men are also hoping to turn around a 1-0 first-leg deficit in their Copa del Rey semi-final with Barcelona.

When told that Madrid’s high standards demanded winning either La Liga, the Copa del Rey, or the Champions League, Ancelotti told reporters: “Rules change!
“And unwritten rules too." "But I’m convinced that we’ll win something this season, so that’s that.”
