Casemiro, a recent addition to Manchester United, expressed his gratitude to Cristiano Ronaldo for helping him adapt to life at the team and expressed his desire to work with him in the future.
All summer long, Ronaldo's departure from Old Trafford has been suggested.
Last week, Casemiro, a former teammate of Ronaldo's for several seasons at Real Madrid, moved to Manchester United in a deal worth up to £70 million.
The 30-year-old also claims that Ronaldo has already assisted him in adjusting to his new environment.
“We approached each other because of the language, too. Since the first day here, he has helped me with everything. He is helping me a lot.
“I really hope he stays with us,” Casemiro told ESPN Brasil.
