Casemiro, a recent addition to Manchester United, has stated that he will be "sad and very nervous" if his new team doesn't win the Champions League or Premier League.
This week, Casemiro's potential £70 million transfer from Real Madrid to United was finalized.
The Brazilian midfielder insisted he still has ambitions to compete for the biggest trophies in the game despite United not being in the Champions League this season and not having won the Premier League since 2013.
"Well, five [Champions League] rights are mine, correct?
However, it's not because I have five that I don't want Manchester to triumph. Everyone aspires to win the Champions League because it is the most significant championship.
However, as I previously mentioned, the club and coach treated me incredibly well from the start and made me feel at ease. These matters are significant. And yes, I will be disappointed and anxious if we do not advance to the Champions League or win the Premier [League]. But we are aware that it requires a lot of effort and commitment, as Casemiro told ESPN Brazil.
