Attacker Chinoso Chibueze has signed his first professional contract with the Blues.
According to a statement on Chelsea’s website on Sunday morning, “Chinonso Chibueze has signed his first professional contract with the club, agreeing on a deal that keeps him at the club until at least the summer of 2025.”
Chibueze, who is of Nigerian descent, will continue his football education at Chelsea U18s under Nigerian manager Hassan Sulaiman, who has agreed to become the new coach of Chelsea U18s after making the step up from the U16s.
This is coming less than 24 hours after Chelsea lost 1-0 against Southampton in a Premier League tie at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
