Chelsea are monitoring Raphael’s situation at Barcelona after the Catalan club admitted they must sell players this summer.
The Blues almost signed Raphinha during his time at Premier League side Leeds United before he opted to join Barcelona last summer.
The west London club even bid around £60 million for the then-Leeds United winger.
However, Barcelona won the race for Brazilian internationals, as Chelsea turned their attention to Raheem Sterling instead.
Following a difficult start at Camp Nou, Raphinha has become a key fixture of the side in recent weeks in Ousmane Dembele’s absence.
But Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently admitted that in order to sign new players this summer, Barcelona will have to offload some too.
And according to Sport, Chelsea have been alerted to Raphinha’s situation, and they will consider making an offer to test Barcelona’s resolve as they seek to bolster their manager Graham Potter’s attacking options at the end of the season.
The report added that Raphinha is happy in Spain, but he will reluctantly return to the Premier League if it is made clear to him that he is not part of manager Xavi’s plans for next season.
