It is no longer news that corobavirus has been destabilizing many things that had already been planned.



This article will mainly focus on how coronavirus has drastically affected sporting activities in the couples of weeks that it has been spreading from one country to another.

It is instructive to note that many sporting activities have been scheduled in a way that it will be difficult for frivolous changes but the outbreak and waxing of this highly contagious virus have been making it unavoidable to altered the sporting activities calendar schedule.

The virus has led the organising committee of the Tokyo Olympic to be considering then the possibility of the major sporting event to hold without spectators or the event might be postponed indefinitely. However, more will be known on this when the torch for Tokyo will be lighting tomorrow in Olympia in Greece.

Also, coronavirus has led the six nations and women's six-nation rugby match to be postponed indefinitely too, the decision was reached late last week, in order to curtail the spreading of the virus.

In Formula One, Grand Prix in Bahrain will also be I closed door while the Chinese Grand Prix in April has been postponed too.

In soccer, the Italian and Iran government has banned any sporting activities in these countries, in other to stop the rate at which the virus is spreading in the two countries. Italian Serie A and other league matches have postponed.

In England, earlier today, the Arsenal players are set to be isolated for two weeks and their matches during this period have been postponed too. Professional soccer in Spain and Portugal will be in an empty stadium. FIFA has set to postpone the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 world cup in Qater.


In Tennis, BNP Paribas Open has been cancelled, the event that ought to be held in India.

These are just a few sporting events that have been altered by the trending coronavirus, out prayer is that knowledge to determine this deadly virus will be known soon.
