After burying his differences with Marcus Rashford, a fellow Manchester United player, Cristiano Ronaldo is now supportive of the England star.
Rashford took Ronaldo's place in Erik ten Hag's starting XI because Ronaldo did not take part in Manchester United's preseason activities.
The Portuguese player has only made one Premier League start, and Rashford has been in his best form this season with three goals in six games.
Additionally, when Ronaldo was still adamant about his desire to leave Old Trafford, Rashford's new position at the Theatre of Dreams is said to have strained relations between the two in August.
However, The Sun claims that Ronaldo has changed his attitude since the transfer window shut and it became clear that he would not be able to leave United as he had hoped.
According to the newspaper, the 37-year-old has regained his focus and is now supporting Rashford, who is keeping him off the team.
It said the veteran is giving Rashford ‘constructive’ criticism about his positioning, decision-making, and run choices.
Rashford is said to be surprised at Ronaldo’s help and genuinely appreciates the time that he’s taken to help him with his game.
