British journalist Piers Morgan has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo has already told him the country that will win the World Cup in Qatar this year.

According to Morgan, Ronaldo told him that his national team, Portugal, could win the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Selecao thrashed Switzerland 6-1 to move into the World Cup quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Portugal’s goals came through the boots of Goncalo Ramos, who scored the World Cup’s first hat-trick. Pepe, Rafael Guerreiro, and Rafael Leao all found the net.

“Portugal were sensational tonight. "Ronaldo told me he thought they could win the World Cup, and they might,” Piers Morgan, Ronaldo’s diehard friend and supporter, tweeted.

Portugal’s next game is against Morocco in the quarterfinals of the competition.
