Mykhailo Mudryk, a winger for Shakhtar Donetsk, has an £85 million contract with Chelsea.
According to information provided to Sky Sports News, Mudryk was en route to west London on Saturday for a medical.
The 22-year-old has reportedly been offered a seven-and-a half-year contract by Chelsea, who are reportedly confident of securing the transfer.
A deal was "very close," according to a statement from Shakhtar on Saturday night.
Following that, Chelsea released a statement confirming they were "discussing terms" regarding a transfer fee with Shakhtar.
If a deal is reached between the two clubs, the Ukrainian international, who can play as a forward or a winger, will talk about personal terms with the Blues before a permanent transfer, according to Chelsea.
