Prior to their Europa League play-off second-leg match with Manchester United on February 23 at Old Trafford, Barcelona has been dealt another injury blow.
The 2-2 draw between Barcelona and Man United in the first leg of their Europa League play-off on Thursday at Camp Nou resulted in Pedri, a midfielder, suffering a thigh injury.
Just before halftime, the 20-year-old Spaniard needed to be replaced, and Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez revealed following the game that the midfielder had hurt his thigh.
In addition to Ousmane Dembele and Sergio Busquets who are currently out injured for Barcelona, Pedri has also injured himself while playing against Manchester United.
According to Diario AS, Pedri will be sidelined for one month as a result of his injury, making it unlikely that he will make a comeback before the middle of March.
The midfielder will consequently miss Sunday's La Liga match against Cadiz as well as next week's Europa League play-off second leg match in England.
