The Flying Eagles defeated Lobi Stars 2-0 in a friendly on Saturday morning in Abuja to complete the first part of their training program in preparation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Both teams had excellent scoring opportunities in the first half but failed to capitalize on them.

The Flying Eagles took the lead in the 76th minute on a free kick by Ridwan Sarki.

Ten minutes from the end, substitute Olusegun Otusanya scored the second goal.

The Flying Eagles only drew one of their nine test matches while winning eight of them.

Only two goals were allowed while they scored 40.

Beginning on January 6, Ladan Bosso's side will resume camping.
