Manchester City playmaker, Kevin de Bruyne, has revealed how his team can beat Real Madrid when both sides clash in the UEFA Champions League semi-final stage in May.
De Bruyne said Man City would need to be at their best against Real Madrid to qualify for the Champions League final this season.
Both Man City and Real Madrid qualified for the Champions League semi-final stage after eliminating Bayern Munich and Chelsea respectively in the quarter-final stage.
However, for the second consecutive season, Man City and Real Madrid will meet in the Champions League semi-final.
“We will need to be at our best to beat them,” De Bruyne was quoted by MEN as saying.
“Last year, we played really well, made some mistakes, but this year we will try to minimise the mistakes.
“One of the best teams. A lot of respect for them – top, top team and players.
“We’ve played a lot of times against them, and they have always been good games. I would not expect anything less.
“I have got confidence in our team. We go again and hopefully, the outcome will be ours this time.”
