Brazil forward Neymar has hinted the 2022 World Cup could be the last in his career.
The 30-year-old featured in the last two editions but has yet to win a major title with the national team.
“I’ll play like it’s the last." I always tell my father—we always talk—to play each game as if it were the last because you never know what will happen tomorrow.
“I can’t guarantee that I’ll play another [World] Cup... I honestly don’t know. I’ll play like it’s the last. Maybe I’ll play another one, maybe not.
“It depends. "There's going to be a coaching change, and I don’t know if that coach will like me,” Neymar told Globo.
Brazil's head coach, Tite, will step down after the World Cup in Qatar, and his replacement is yet to be named.
The Selecao have won the World Cup a record five times but haven’t won the trophy since 2002.
