Everton's Alex Iwobi continued his impressive form for Everton, but the Merseysiders fell to a 2-1 defeat against Manchester United at Goodison Park.



Iwobi scored Everton’s only goal of the game.

The former Nigeria international put Everton in front after five minutes.

It was Iwobi’s first goal of the season for the Toffees.

The 26-year-old has also provided four assists for Frank Lampard’s side.

Iwobi was in action for 90 minutes in the thrilling encounter.

The defeat was Everton’s first in seven league outings.
