Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O'Hara has identified three key issues with the current Chelsea squad this season under manager Graham Potter.
The current Chelsea team, in O'Hara's opinion, has problems because they "look soft, weak, and are unable to hurt teams."
He made this comment in reference to Chelsea's performance against Manchester City on Thursday night. As a result of the 1-0 loss at Stamford Bridge, Potter's team is now languishing in 10th place in the Premier League standings.
Following winger Riyad Mahrez's second-half goal, Chelsea suffered a defeat at home to Pep Guardiola's team.
O'Hara stated to talkSPORT, "I think that they [Chelsea] look soft; they look weak, and I think that they don't hurt you."
"They are practical, and this is not the Chelsea I used to watch, who would show up and be terrible and difficult to beat, not give up, and have monsters in the team scoring goals.
"I like the look of playing against this Chelsea team," the speaker said of the team.
“It’s one of the most successful football teams in the last 20 years, and they are sitting 10th in the table,” he added.
