Tottenham Hotspur forwards Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min, according to Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand, will be dissatisfied with the team's style of play under manager Antonio Conte.
Tottenham has had a successful season thus far, as evidenced by their third-place finish in the Premier League standings after 13 games.
“What do you want?" Do you want success and to take a bit away from the style, or do you want to go back to playing good football and not really win much? "That's something you can ask the fans,” Ferdinand said on BT Sport.
“If you look at it as a player, As a player, I think some players in that squad will be frustrated with the way they are playing.
“If you look at Son, Kane, and all the strikers in that team, they will be sitting there going, "Well, Kane ain’t going to be near the top of the goal charts."
“Well, Haaland’s obviously breezing it, but Kane would want to be having that fight and having that argument." At the moment, he’s a bit hamstrung.
“When you watch him sometimes, he’s almost like a defensive midfielder, the positions he’s playing, due to the structure.”
