After much anticipation, Leicester City has finally added their first player of the summer.



With the signing of free agent Alex Smithies, the Foxes completed their first summer transfer.

At the King Power Stadium, the 32-year-old has agreed to a two-year contract.

On the website of the club, he stated: "It feels amazing. It’s the first time I’ve been to the new training ground and it’s just incredible.

“What a place to work and come and thrive. I’m really looking forward to it. "
