Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed Wilfred Ndidi will return to the pitch in the next three weeks.
Ndidi sustained an injury while on international duty with Nigeria and aggravated it during Leicester City’s Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest on October 3.
The 25-year-old was replaced at half-time by France midfielder Boubacar Soumare.
Rodgers stated that Ndidi will miss this weekend’s home clash against Crystal Palace as a result of a hamstring issue but will be back in action soon.
“He’ll probably be a few weeks." When he came off, we were looking at about three weeks, "Rodgers told reporters."
” We think it’ll be around that period of time from last week.”
Ndidi missed the latter part of the 2021/22 campaign due to injury.
The Nigerian has missed 17 of the last 26 games played by Leicester City due to fitness issues.
