Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, has stated that he and Kylian Mbappe have a "100%" chance of staying with the club next season.

Mbappe's current contract with the club expires on June 30, and he has yet to reach an agreement with the club on new terms.

Real Madrid is rumored to be pursuing a free move for the French forward.

Pochettino, on the other hand, is adamant that he will stay at Parc des Princes beyond the summer.

The Argentine coach has also dismissed suggestions that he is going to be fired by PSG after a poor 2021–2022 season in which a Ligue 1 title triumph did nothing to offset an early Champions League exit.

When asked how likely it is that PSG will keep him on and tie Mbappe down to a new contract, Pochettino told a press conference on Thursday: “100 per cent in both cases.”
The 50-year-old added on why he is so confident that Mbappe will decide to stay put: “It’s my feeling today, what I perceive today." That’s what I can say now.
Of course, it’s football and you never know what can happen. But when asked what I think today, that’s my answer.
