Manchester United have confirmed they are admirers of Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix and would like to sign him.
Felix is available to leave Atletico Madrid this January transfer window, but Manchester United are only exploring loan options at the moment because a deal for the Portugal international could cost a pretty penny.
Man United want a new striker and Felix is one name which keeps popping up, along with the likes of Memphis Depay, Vincent Aboubakar and Eric Choupo-Moting.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Erik ten Hag’s side has held talks with Felix’s agent, Jorge Mendes, as they look to bolster their attack in the second half of the campaign.
Romano disclosed this on his YouTube Channel, saying, “Jorge Mendes was in Atletico Madrid to speak with the CEO Miguel Ángel Gil Marín. Why this happened is because Manchester United confirmed to Miguel Ángel Gil Marín that they really like Joao Felix and they want him.”
