Lionel Messi and Neymar, both of Paris Saint-Germain, have been left off the shortlist for the French Ligue 1 player of the year.
Messi scored four goals in 23 league games after joining from Barcelona last summer, so their omission comes as no surprise.
Meanwhile, Neymar, who won the league's player of the year award in 2017-18, did not make the cut this time.
Messi and Neymar's PSG colleague Kylian Mbappe, the leading scorer in Ligue 1 with 24 goals so far this season, Marseille's Dimitri Payet, and Lyon's Lucas Paqueta have all been nominated for the player of the year title.
Martin Terrier of Rennes and Wissam Ben Yedder of AS Monaco are among the others.
