The Ikon Allah Boys secured a 3-1 victory against Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin, marking Bendel Insurance's first home defeat in 17 years.

Chidiebere Ernest, Akintunde Azeez, and Clinton Jephta each contributed a goal for Niger Tornadoes, while Chukwudi Meze scored for the home team.

In a post-match interview, Coach Mohammed emphasized the effectiveness of their game plan, stating, "For every game, there is always a strategy, and as you can see, the strategy worked for us."
