Bendel Insurance's head coach, Monday Odigie, has said his team is not flattered by their unbeaten record in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.
The Benin Arsenal played out a 1-1 draw against the Remo Stars on Sunday to extend their unbeaten record in the NPFL this season to 14 games.
Odigie stated that the team approaches all games with a winning mindset.
“You can see this is a young team just coming from the Nigeria National League; the results have been good, no doubt,” Odigie told The Daily Post.
“I am not flattered by the unbeaten record, as we just approach our matches with a winning mindset, which has been helping all along,” he said.
Bendel Insurance is at the top of Group A's table with 28 points, four points ahead of second-placed Enyimba.
