Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has lavished praise on his former boss, Jose Mourinho.

Peseiro once worked as an assistant to Mourinho, who has coached a number of Europe’s top clubs, including Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid.

Former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Melvin Pinnick, confirmed that Peseiro was recommended to the soccer body by Mourinho.

Peseiro praised his compatriot for his enthusiasm and motivation over the years.

The former Saudi Arabia and Venezuela tactician also eulogized Mourinho for paving the way for other Portuguese coaches.
