Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has apologized to former Manchester City man, Micah Richards, for his comments on the latter’s new haircut.
Both former footballers host the UEFA Champions League on CBS, and during the program on Tuesday, the topic of Richard's new haircut appeared to have gone a bit too far.
Carragher poked fun at the former Manchester City defender after he showed up in a new haircut.
He called the new trim "awful."
Carragher went on to say that Richards used to be “so cool” but now he looked “not cool. “It doesn’t suit you. I’m saying that as a friend.”
The next day, Richards told Carragher, “You ruined my confidence yesterday Jamie!”
And in response, Carragher admitted he went too far and was told off by his wife.
“Can I say something? My wife Nicola told me last night [that] I went too far.”
Both men anchored Wednesday’s Champions League fixtures for CBS.
