Kenneth Omeruo, a former Chelsea defender, has supported Nigeria's Super Eagles to overcome Ghana's Black Stars in a 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff on Friday night at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.



According to Omeruo, the match between Nigeria and Ghana will be challenging, but the Super Eagles will prevail.

He said this to the media on Thursday, just before the team's trip to Kumasi.

"The group is prepared. We had a nice training session, and I believe we are ready based on what the coaches are trying to teach us, "Omeruo remarked.

"We are going there to win the game. It won't be easy, but we have the squad to do it," he said. "We are going there to win the game. It won't be easy, but we have the squad to do it."

Following Friday's match, Nigeria will play Ghana in a rematch on Tuesday in Abuja.
