NOURI AWAKES AFTER 490 DAYS IN COMA
Ajax midfielder, Abdelhak Nouri, who suffered serious lasting brain damage after collapsing during a friendly match against Werder Bremen on July 8, 2017 has woken up. Nouri woke up on August 5, 2018 after 490 days in coma.
According to his brother, the Netherlander who is of Moroccan descent recognized his loved ones and started to communicate with his family.
Nouri suffered cardiac arrhythmia in the friendly match and was taken to hospital by trauma helicopter but has been in coma since then.
