This hiatus was instituted to allow Rivers United to complete their outstanding fixtures. The Port Harcourt-based team is gearing up to face Niger Tornadoes in their final pending match this Sunday.
Matchday 33 fixtures are scheduled for Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, marking the league's return to action. According to the NPFL, the 2023-24 season is slated to conclude on Sunday, June 23.
Currently, Rangers are leading the standings with 57 points from 32 games, positioning themselves as strong contenders as the season draws to a close.
