Bendel Insurance is the only team with a perfect record in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.

On Monday, Odigie’s side underlined their title credentials with a commanding 3-0 win against Remo Stars at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, on Saturday.

Three goals from Imade Osarenkhoe, Sarki Ismael, and Austin Ogunye were all the Benin Arsenal needed to keep the momentum going in the NPFL.

Defending champions Rivers United extended their unbeaten streak after rallying back to beat Dakkada 2-1 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

The Pride of Rivers have won three and drawn one of their four games.

Edith Agoye’s Sunshine Stars recorded their first win of the season, courtesy of a 1-0 victory against Abia Warriors.

The Owena Whales played three consecutive draws before Sunday’s win.

Action will continue in the NPFL on Wednesday with matches across 10 different centers.
