Albert Korvah, a winger from Liberia, has been signed by Rivers United, the defending NPL champions, to a three-year deal.
Watanga FC, the top-tier club in Liberia, is where Korvah joined Rivers United.
During this month's CAF Champions League match between Rivers United and Watanga FC, the gifted winger caught the attention of the crowd.
Despite Korvah being a pain in their defenders' flesh during the two-legged match, Rivers United prevailed 3-1 on the overall score.
He is expected to link up with the Port Harcourt club in time for their CAF Champions League first round clash against Wydad Casablanca of Morocco.
The first leg will be held next Sunday at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.
Rivers United won the NPFL title for the first time last season and are looking to become the second Nigerian club to lift the CAF Champions League trophy.
