Osimhen reveals swapping shirts with Manchester City striker Haaland
Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen has revealed that he and the Manchester City star share a mutual respect for one another.
Osimhen and Haaland are two of the most prolific attackers in the world at the moment.
The duo have scored on a regular basis for their respective clubs this season, and there has been an argument about who is the better of the two.
Osimhen, however, admires the Norwegian, with whom he has already swapped shirts through his Napoli teammate, Leo Ostigard.
The Nigerian also rated Haaland as one of the best strikers of his generation.
“Leo Ostigard spoke to me a lot about him, how hard he trained, then one day he said, ‘If you want, I can bring you his shirt.’ I said: ‘Of course, bro.’
”So he spoke to Haaland, who also asked for my shirt, so we swapped them through Ostigard. He is one of the best of his generation, so to be compared with him—and considered one of the best strikers in the world—only inspires me to do more,” he said.
