Hull City's Richard Smallwood is interested in making a summer move for Peterborough United's Richard Smallwood, as per a report from Hull Live.
The 31-year-old is understood to have rejected the Championship outfit’s offer of a 12-month extension to his Hull contract, with that sparking widespread interest in England’s third-tier.
Peterborough have emerged as the only named League One outfit who are currently in pursuit of the holding midfielder, with Smallwood featuring 41 times in the league for Hull during the 2021/22 campaign.
The report states that Smallwood would prefer to remain in the north, which could be damaging to Posh’s chances to secure a move for Smallwood.
