Arsenal legend Robert Pires has urged his former club to sign Chelsea target Moises Caicedo this summer.

Pires said that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has since wanted to sign Caicedo, who currently plays for Brighton, for a long time.

Caicedo is keen to leave Brighton this summer and has been linked with Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool.

Speaking with El Canal del Futbol, Pires was asked for his opinion on Caicedo’s future, and he replied:

“I hope he signs for Arsenal this summer. Mikel Arteta wants to sign him since a long time. He’s got all the tools needed to succeed at Arsenal.
“The club are willing to pay big money for him and that is testament to his ability.”
