Paris Saint-Germain head coach Christophe Galtier could face up to three years in prison for ‘moral harassment and discrimination.
’
The trial for Galtier’s case is set to take place on December 15 this year.
Galtier reportedly sent an email during his time as head coach of OGC Nice, stating: “You have built a team of scum. There are only blacks, and half the team goes to the mosque on Friday.”
These controversial words have gotten Galtier in trouble, as the 56-year-old and his son, John Valovic-Galtier, were taken into police custody on Friday for questioning.
However, as reported by Sportskeeda, the PSG manager could face serious consequences if found guilty in the December trial.
The report added that aside from a three-year prison term, Galtier could also face a €45,000 fine.
Meanwhile, PSG has yet to speak on the latest issue with Galtier, who is set to be sacked by the Qatari owners of the French Ligue 1 champions.
Former Barcelona and Spain manager Luis Enrique has been linked with PSG to take over from Galtier.
