Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has confirmed that forward Lionel Messi will leave the club at the end of the season.
Galtier stated this ahead of PSG’s French Ligue 1 clash against Clermont-Foy on Saturday.
This means that PSG’s clash against Clermont-Foy will be Messi’s last game for PSG.
Galtier said, as quoted by Goal, “I had the privilege of coaching the best player in the history of football.
“It will be Leo’s last match at the Parc des Princes against Clermont”.
Messi has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, a return to Barcelona, and a move to Major League Soccer (MLS).
