If the Qatari-backed Sheikh Jassim takeover bid at Old Trafford is successful, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly willing to sell Kylian Mbappe to Manchester United this summer.
Mbappe has expressed his refusal to sign the one-year contract extension offered by PSG, which means his current deal with the Ligue 1 champions will expire in 12 months.
PSG is determined not to let the 24-year-old forward leave without a transfer fee and is prepared to cash in on him during this transfer window. El Pais reports that PSG's QSI ownership, instead of dealing with Real Madrid, is inclined to sell Mbappe to Manchester United if Sheikh Jassim's takeover bid is approved.
While Real Madrid has held a longstanding interest in Mbappe and is actively seeking talented forwards following the departures of Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Mariano, and Eden Hazard, PSG is considering the Manchester United option due to their preference for dealing with Sheikh Jassim.
