Jamie Redknapp, a former England midfielder, has suggested that winning the Premier League championship might be too much for Manchester United.

Following Wednesday night's 1-1 draw between United and Crystal Palace, Redknapp gave an interview to Sky Sports.

Despite their obvious improvement under Erik ten Hag, the outcome, in his opinion, may have put an end to their hopes of mounting a title challenge.

“I didn’t really believe Manchester United were in the title picture before the game."
“I still think they have so much work to do, but the progress they have made so far is astounding."
“However, the title this season is a bit of a step too far. "They have had too much to do after the poor start they’ve had,” Redknapp said.

United are now eight points behind leaders Arsenal having played a game more.

Both sides meet this Sunday at the Emirates.
