Legendary player Paul Scholes of Manchester United has maintained that Manchester City remains the favorite to win the Premier League this year.

On Saturday, City let a one-goal advantage slip away and fell to United 2-1.

Late in the game, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford scored to negate Jack Grealish's opening goal.

Scholes believes that United are now title contenders, but he still anticipates City to pursue Arsenal, who could jump eight points ahead with a victory over Tottenham on Sunday.

“We’ve learned that Manchester United can beat a big team when the pressure is on and when they need to."
“Are they in the title race?" I think you have to say they are. If they keep people fit, they are one point behind Man City now.
“City are still the favorites for me; they’re still the best team in this league,” Scholes told BT Sport.
