Ronaldo breaks silence after Man Utd’s statement on his interview with Piers Morgan
Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has broken his silence following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
The 37-year-old had claimed he was betrayed by the Red Devils and made it clear he cannot respect manager Erik ten Hag.
The Premier League club responded by issuing a terse statement, revealing they were considering their options.
Ronaldo, who did not feature in United’s 2-1 win at Fulham, is now training with Portugal’s national team ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
He has now taken to Instagram to state that his focus is absolutely on the upcoming tournament in Qatar.
Ronaldo wrote: “Total and absolute focus on National Team work." united group, towards one objective: realizing the dream of all Portuguese people!”
It will be the fifth outing at the World Cup for the former Juventus and Real Madrid superstar.
