Schalke 04 have signed Sebastian Rudy from Bayern Munich, the player completed his move to Schalke after signing a 4 year deal.

The German player signed the four year deal to wrap up a transfer worth a reported £14.5m ending a season-long stay with Bayern.

With the arrival of Rudy to Schalke, it is expected that he will help Schalke address the loss of Leon Goretzka to Bayern after finishing second to the runaway champions in last season's Bundesliga.

In his statement on his new club website, Rudy said "I'm convinced of the way the club wants to go and would like to be a part of it,". "And I'm really looking forward to the fans and the atmosphere at Schalke."

It is expected that the 28 year Midfielder will have a regular playing time in Schalke.
