Shooting Stars captain Omololu Waheed has expressed optimism in the team’s ability to perform well in the Nigeria Professional Football League next season.



Omololu said there is healthy competition on the team.

He also hinted that player recruitment is done on merit without favoritism.

“I must confess, the level of competition within the team is quite interesting,” he told Shooting Stars Media.
“Every player wants to fight his way into the final squad for the season.
“With what I’m seeing, the caliber of players, the zeal and commitment, as well as the level of discipline, I believe we will have a strong side for the new season.”
