The Shooting Stars began a close camp on Sunday, which marked a step up in their season-long preparations for 2023–24.

September 8–10 is anticipated to mark the beginning of the new season.

The Oluyole Warriors are currently practicing in private in Ijebu-Ode in preparation for the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League season.

“After engaging in a series of friendly matches and participating in two pre-season tournaments, we have decided to move to the next stage of our buildup, which is the close camping.
“The team needs maximum concentration to reach perfection, hence the need to take the players away from any form of distraction,” the spokesperson for the club stated.

The draw for the new season will be held on Tuesday in Abuja.
